Section 107 - Discipline

Four Chapters

To describe the Department’s disciplinary system and the authority and responsibility of Supervisors to carry it out.

To describe those circumstances in which Employees may be temporarily relieved from duty altogether or be placed on modified assignment and the procedures for doing so.

To establish a procedure for review of vehicle accidents involving Employee injuries and/or damage to Department motor vehicles. “Department motor vehicles” shall include motor vehicles assigned by other agencies to Sworn Members participating in multiagency task forces and the like.

To promote Employee morale and high standards of conduct by recognizing Employees who actions exemplify the best traditions in law enforcement.
