To establish responsibilities for the conduct of criminal investigations by members of the General Investigations Unit.

To establish responsibilities for the conduct of criminal investigations by members of the Warrant Fugitive Unit.

To establish procedures for the operation of the Crime Analysis and Intelligence Unit of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.

To establish responsibilities for the conduct of criminal investigations by members of the Forensic Investigations Unit.

To establish procedures for the operation of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety Pistol License Unit.

To describe the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF) and to further delineate the procedures specific to Sworn Members assigned to the JTTF (Detailees) as set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the FBI and the Department of Public Safety.

To describe the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Violent Crimes Task Force (VCTF) and to further delineate the procedures specific to Sworn Members assigned to the VCTF (Detailees) as set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the FBI and the Department of Public Safety.

To describe the Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force (DEATF) and to further delineate the procedures specific to Sworn Members assigned to the DEATF (Detailees) as set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the DEA and the Department.

To describe the United States Marshal’s Service (USMS) Regional Fugitive Task Force (RFTF) and to further delineate the procedures specific to Sworn Members assigned to the RFTF (Detailees) as set forth in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the USMS and the Department.
